School Pride Contest 2025
We have our annual school pride contest to see which school can raise the most money and earn their teachers free lunch during teacher appreciation week. The school pride contest runs this year from March 31st – April 6th. Schools will be given a box to decorate from McAlister's or Salsarita's and the "School Pride" box will be displayed on the counters at your local restaurants. We will also send you flyers you can send out to help advertise the event. When families come in from your school, they are to drop their receipt in the box to receive credit for the sales. Parents or staff who order catering can also count towards the contest by putting their catering receipt in the box or letting us know.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- Fill out the contact information below.
- Pick a class to decorate your school pride box.
- Send out announcements about the class on social media, emails, flyers.
PRIZES:
- Free lunch (up to $500) for teachers on May 9th
- $100 donation to the school PTO
- All schools who participate receive 15% off any catering for teacher appreciation week.
KEY DATES:
- March 21st – School Pride boxes to be completed
- March 31st – April 6th – School pride contest
- May 5th– May 9th – Teacher appreciation week (Free Tea for Teachers from McAlister's and free drink for Salsarita's)
May 9th – If winner of contest will receive free lunch (up to $500 value) for the teachers. All other schools receive 15% off catering
